As a biotech company matures, clinical trials will take up a disproportionate amount of resources for a clinical stage company. The CEO of Trialspark, Benjamine Liu, will give an overview of some of the opportunities to reimagine the clinical trial and significantly reduce the time and cost of development.

Benjamine Liu is the co-founder and CEO of Trialspark, a technology company that runs end to-end clinical trials for biopharma. Benjamine received his DPhil from Oxford, conducting his graduate work with Sir Simon Lovestone. His doctoral thesis leveraged machine-learning and ‘omics’ to identify diagnostic tests and therapeutic targets for Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s disease. During his graduate work, he was exposed to how clinical trials bottlenecked the development of new drugs, compelling him to start Trialspark.
