Senior Scientist – Discovery Sciences Team
About the position:
We are seeking an exceptional senior scientist to join our growing team. Your responsibilities will include managing junior RAs/Scientists in addition to working closely with our drug development team (CEO, CSO, Chemists, and Toxicologists) to understand the mechanism of action of our small molecules discovered through our novel platform.
Qualifications:
PhD with 2-5 years of molecular biology/biochemistry experience preferably in chronic diseases that include muscular dystrophy, inflammatory indications and cancers.
Must have experience in cell based and cell free screening assays that include but not limited to: ELISAs, Westerns, qRT-PCR, Reporter Assays, biochemical binding assays, Next-gen sequencing, Flow cytometry, transient and stable transfections, ChIP, and IP.
Must have a good understanding of basic signalling pathways and mechanism of action based assays.
Experience with small molecule screening: dose response studies, hit finding and hit validation assays.
Fluorescence microscopy experience encouraged but not necessary.
In vivo experience encouraged but not necessary.
