Job Description
Our Biology team is looking for a highly motivated Associate Scientist to support all aspects of
immunology and immuno-oncology drug discovery by conducting well designed research studies
that support the development of novel immunotherapies for autoimmune diseases and cancer.
Basic Qualifications
BS or BA in Biology, Immunology, or other related scientific discipline with 0-3 years of relevant wet
lab experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Hands-on experience in one or more of the following areas of academic or industrial research:
• Tissue Culture (Human & Mouse cell lines, and primary cells)
• Flow Cytometry
• ELISA
• Mouse in vivo models
Job Responsibilities
• Work alongside supervising Scientist to design, execute and troubleshoot in vitro, ex vivo, and in vivo studies supporting target characterization and validation, as well as regulatory filings
• Maintain cell lines and culture primary immune cells
• Generate high quality proof-of-concept data for early-stage Immunology/Immuno-oncology discovery programs and enable collective decision making at the project team level
• Collaborate with groups and teammates across research functions
• Analyze experimental data and communicate results to key stakeholders in a timely fashion
• Prepare slides and present experimental data clearly and concisely at weekly project updates
• Maintain accurate and orderly scientific records and lab notebook entries
• Effective communication skills and accountability are essential requirements for this position
