Rob McGinnis, PhD, is an inventor and entrepreneur. He is the Founder and CEO of Prometheus, a Silicon Valley-based tech startup that removes carbon dioxide from the air and turns it into gasoline, diesel, and jet fuels that are zero-net-carbon and compete with fossil fuels on performance and price. He previously founded Mattershift, which launched the Prometheus technology platform and continues to develop scalable molecular factories for the production of fuels, fertilizers, chemicals, medicines, and materials from molecular building blocks. Rob invented the first practical and scalable Carbon Nanotube (CNT) membrane, as well as the first hollow fiber CNT membrane.
