A revolutionary digital microfluidic platform for fully automated NGS sample preparation

Description for the talk:

The Miro Canvas is a revolutionary platform which enables full walkaway automation of complex next generation sequencing (NGS) sample prep protocols. The compact system uses novel digital microfluidic technology to automate complex protocols, greatly reduce reagent usage and provide compatibility for multiple NGS platforms and protocols. The Miro Canvas has been optimized to produce high quality results with key sequencing metrics equivalent to manually prepared libraries. Use cases and results will be highlighted for long read sequencing, target enrichment and on-demand processing of samples.

Description of the machine:

Miro Canvas is a compact, digital microfluidic platform which enables true walkaway automation of complex NGS library prep and hybridization protocols with only minutes of hands-on time. An innovative single-use cartridge is used to perform all protocol steps, including mixing, thermal cycling, and bead cleanups. The system also minimizes reagent usage by as much as 75% and accommodates multiple sample preparation protocols.
