Kate Hudson Joins Symbiome as Creative Advisor

Academy Award-nominated actress Kate Hudson, an avid Symbiome customer, has joined the MBC resident company as Creative Advisor to help develop their next generation of microbiome products in skin and gut health, saying “I am proud and excited to join the brilliant and dedicated Symbiome team on their mission to improve health from the outside in.” Congrats on adding Kate’s celebrity, creativity, and entrepreneurial spirit to your team, Symbiome!  

MBC BioLabs Alum, Loyal, Makes Headlines with their Pioneering Longevity Drugs for Dogs

Aiming to bridge the longevity gap between breeds, Loyal, a pet longevity company, is on the verge of a veterinary breakthrough. They're developing an injectable drug targeting the IGF-1 hormone, with the goal of extending the healthy lives of larger dogs by at least a year. Garnering support from the FDA for a fast-tracked authorization, Loyal is on track for a potential conditional approval of their drug, LOY-001, in 2026. This approval could allow the drug to reach the market even before the completion of extensive clinical trials, as shared by Founder and CEO, Celine Halioua.

At Huminly, we recycle the unrecyclable, starting with textiles. Using just water, salt, and enzymes, we take blended textile waste and extract high-quality raw materials like cotton and polyester to make brand new clothes. We help textile manufacturers and fashion brands reach their sustainability targets by diverting more of their waste from landfill while offering them a sustainable source of raw materials without needing to compromise on cost or quality. Huminly will be joining the 930 Brittan community in San Carlos.

Pasture Bio

Pasture Biosciences is building a vaccine for cattle to augment their rumen microbiome to reduce their methane emissions. They will be joining the 135 Mississipi Street community in San Francisco.
