Dren Bio announces strategic collaboration with Novartis
Dren Bio, one of our distinguished alumni, has announced a strategic collaboration with Novartis to develop bispecific antibody therapies targeting cancer. This partnership, which builds on Dren Bio’s targeted myeloid engager and phagocytosis platform, includes an upfront payment of $150 million from Novartis, with $25 million as an equity investment.

Montara Therapeutics announces $8M seed round
Montara Therapeutics has launched with $8 million in seed funding to develop a “BrainOnly” platform, designed to target central nervous system (CNS) disorders while minimizing peripheral side effects. Montara's initial program will improve upon a molecule with proven clinical efficacy that is limited by severe peripheral side effects. We are excited that the great team behind Mitokinin is back with a second company at MBC BioLabs, and we look forward to seeing Montara’s future progress and success.
