Anzen Industries is a vertically integrated enzymatic manufacturing company producing high-value chemicals using reusable enzyme reactors. They replace fermentation and plant extraction with small, modular systems that stabilise enzymes outside of the cell, enabling lower infrastructure costs, more reliable supply chains and better economics for complex molecules. Their initial focus is antioxidants 20x more potent than vitamin C. The company is led by Amy Locks (CEO), PhD in enzyme stabilisation from UCL, and Pedro Lovatt Garcia (CTO), PhD from Imperial in computational enzyme design. They recently raised $2.3M from LocalGlobe and angels including the Vice Chair of Henkel and Cory Levy.
